Yes I got Dan perfectly, he meant a site like BB or any other who might monopolise the market one day, and the small services would be put in some sort of danger up to a certain extent. But like I said it looks a bit unrealistic to me, and you have my reasons written below.
The reason why BB exists is because we always wanted something new, something you won't find everywhere, involving steadiness and trust, and survive over the course of the years of course. People change, but the goal remains the same.
We're far from being perfect, we all make mistakes and have our weak points, but if we try hard and really want I think we can improve day by day, and achieve something really nice in time.
