Sampdoria forward Antonio Cassano celebrates after scoring with Daniele Franceschini during their 'Serie A' football match Inter vs Sampdoria at 'Luigi Ferraris ' Stadium in Genoa on February 24, 2008. AFP PHOTO / GIUSEPPE CACACE (Photo credit should read GIUSEPPE CACACE/AFP/Getty Images) Cassano and Bellucci are back for the Genoa based club, and we all know these two are crucial. They've been scoring goals in plenty this season, and have a good chance to boost their record when their team hosts struggling Livorno on Sunday.

It has to be a thrashing. More or less. Sampdoria played quite bad against Catania in their last home match, but confirmed their class away at Empoli. The match against Catania was very strange in my view, I've never seen them like this, lacking ideas up front. I even suspected they're not interested in any European spot, well the match against Empoli has cleared up things, for me at least. I've seen a motivated team who played very well, and at home it's going to be even better, especialy having the above mentioned players back in the squad.

How about Livorno? I don't doubt their motivation. I'm sure they'd do the best they can to get a result, what I doubt is their quality. I've seen them against Udinese doing nothing, and they've been playing like this every time they faced a strong home side. I have a tendency to believe they won't score at all. All they do is shot, shot and shot again from distance, clear sign of a team who can't build up and play with the ball on the ground, technically. Shouldn't they score, and we have very good chances in my view, Sampdoria will. One time at least, but they will, I don't see Sampdoria not scoring at home once at least, but likely more to be scored, it's to be seen.

Sampdoria: Hugo Campagnaro (def/reg) and Vincenzo Montella (att/sub) are out

Livorno: Giuliano Giannichedda (mid/sub), Francesco Volpe (att/-//-) and Vidigal (mid/reg) are out

Sampdoria (-1) at 2.14 with 188bet, stake 8

Torino v Empoli. Torino come off a great match against Catania, their win was fully deserved, and has somehow calmed down the spirits. Looks like an easy home win against last-placed Empoli, but I don't quite agree.

The visitors have lost 0-2 to Sampdoria last round, but had previously managed a very good perfomace against Roma at Stadio Olimpico. They looked very dangerous on counters especially, and I somehow doubt whether Roma really deserved to win. It's started with Empoli missing a very good chance where Roma's GK done so well, it should have went in by all means. A few moments later Empoli hit the post with another fast action on counters, just count, could have been 2-0 for Empoli!! The team who scores first is Roma instead. Lack of organization in Empoli's box, and the Romans were 1 up. Empoli have got the equalizer early in the second half on another counter-attack and Giovinco couldn't miss. The Romans score number 2 on one of their rare chances, and win the game. Would you say Empoli are really, but really poor? I don't think so. Roma have got a red card in the 2nd half though.

Nicola Pozzi is really important for Empoli but he's missed the Roma clash too, I think they can score even without him. The hosts have more reasons to worry at this point anyways.

Torino: Nicola Ventola (att/reg), Cesare Natali (def/reg), Gianluca Comotto (def/reg) and Vince Grella (mid/reg) are out

Empoli: Nicola Pozzi (att/key), Francesco Pratali (def/reg), Daniele Adani (def/sub) are out

Empoli (+0.5) at 1.96 with 188bet, stake 8

Atalanta v Inter. It's probably going to be my first bet in Serie A when Inter are involved. I've been ignoring them all the time, you can never be sure what to expect from them, but recently I've noticed they are actually stepping back for a while, and I wouldn't wonder to see Roma winning the title in the end.

I can name more than a case from their recent fixtures on the road when they did not play as a team who are favourites. Having said that, their trips to Udinese, Sampdoria, Napoli, Genoa and Lazio have proved they are not so strong as I thought, most of those games were clear DNB matches, where the most lucky team prevailed if not ended up in a draw. As a consequence I think it's quite unfair to give them -0.5 (again) when they play one of the strongest home sides in league.

Atalanta at home are well-known for their good footbal, ok not exactly what happened against Catania, it's a match I simply can't exaplain their poor perfomance up front mainly, but generaly they've been clean, and strong.

Atalanta: Costinha (mid/long term), Zlatan Muslimovivic; (att/sub), Leonardo Talamonti (def/sub), Claudio Rivalta (def/key), Morris Carrozzieri (def/reg) are out

Inter: Olivier Dacourt (mid/sub), Walter Samuel (def/reg), Ivan Cordoba (def/reg) are out

Atalanta (+0.5) at 2.09 with Pinnacle, stake 8

Siena v Udinese. Siena are quite safe in the standings, and Udinese are on fire after they beat Fiorentina last round boosting their hopes as far as their European ambitions go. I don't see them losing this match, having said that we have some very nice chances for them to win, especialy that Udinese play very well on the road too due to their counter-attacking tactic that works better as "supposed" underdogs. Siena instead have shown no football in the Tuscan derby last round ending up with a scoreless draw against Livorno. The last time they beat a side from the range Udinese come from, was against Fiorentina several weeks ago but it was a lucky win no doubt. Udinese should be favourites I say.

Siena: Mario Frick (att/reg), Paul Codrea (mid/reg) and Valerio Bertotto (def/reg) are out

Udinese: Raffaele De Martino (mid/-//-), Christian Obodo (mid/-//-), Cristian Zapata (def/reg), Felipe (def/reg) and Antonio Chimenti (gk/sub) are out

Udinese (0) at 1.90 with Pinnacle, stake 8
