New York Mets -
Cincinnati Reds
Today I'll play two in theory 'bankers' with a runline (-1.5 handicap), with huge hope that both teams won't disappoint me, being such big favorites. Mets are really solid this year so far with
(17-15) balance, in last game they crushed Dodgers (12-1), so I really trust them because they need to continue winning trend cause their NL East division is quite tight with two other solid
teams and they must be in contact with them all the time, now they're third, four wins behind. On the other hand Reds are only mediocre team with (14-21) balance and no real chances to get
playoffs spot, especially being in NL Central, which is really strong, being last team at the moment in here. They have six losses out of last eight matches so I can't say they're in form, but
it's not just problem with a form because they're just poor also in normal form. Also hosts will have much better pitcher, amazing Johan Santana (2.91 ERA), who ought to make huge problems for
opponents batters, while Reds have rather average Matt Belisle (6.91 ERA), who shouldn't be stable and inconsistent against solid Mets offense. I'm sure New York is going to win this one and I
also doubt it could be even game, so runline is much better option in here, especially that moneyline odds are rather jokie.

Minnesota Twins - Boston Red Sox
Another game, where one team is a big favorite and I really hope that they'll win a game with big margin, without any stress or extra innings. Twins are rather poor team, even if their (18-16)
balance looks good in theory because they haven't got any offensive power, being good only in defense, while against strong teams, it's not sufficient. They won first game (7-6) and I'm sure
that guests will try to do everything to make a revange and crush opponents. Red Sox are the best in whole league and there's no doubt, with their (23-15) balance and I can't imagine two losses
in a row with such rivals. Yesterday they had some problems, but it was mainly cause of poor Papelbon performance, but today with Daisuke Matsuzaka (2.43 ERA) it must be really different.
Boston shouldn't let Minnesota to score more than two runs, while against Glen Perkins (3.14 ERA) they ought to run quite often I think. Yesterday their offence looked good, so now with much
better pitcher their win should be rather comfortable. Runline looks really good and I must bet on Red Sox with such handicap in here.
