Wawrinka (1.30) - A. Martin
The difference in class is immense in my opinion. Alberto Martin isn´t as good as he was 2-3 seasons ago and
is slowly declining on the rankings list. He´s been playing mostly at smaller shallenger events with som good results
but this is an entire different level. He´s a litle unlucky to draw Wawrinka already in the first round because the
swiss is in great form at the moment. He currently has a 6-0 h2h against the spaniard on all kinds of surfaces,
including clay !
Richard Gasquet (1.52) - A. Seppi
Gasquet has been ice cold lately and we haven´t seen anything from him this year when you think about it.
Even on his favorite surface clay he´s failed to impress loosing to opponents that are levels below him.
In Rome he god smashed by Horna 4-6 1-6 and a couple of weeks earlier in Monte Carlo to Querrey. The young frenchman
is deffinately out of form but i still believe he will come out strong and win against Seppi. The surface is well suited
for his game,slow clay...
He can´t continue playing like this forever and needs a couple of good tournaments heading into the french open later this month.

Dushevina - Cornet (1.50)
Cornet has impressed for a while now and i realy like the way she plays on clay. She has a good serve and is constantly agressive
from the baseline. Keeping in mind that she´s born 1990 her results are even more impressive, finals Acapulco, semis at Amelia Island,
semis at charleston. She lost in the forst round to Schiavone in Berlin lastg week and that could be a positive thing because now
she's rested and can continue to play on this high level. The went through the qualifiers here with ease once again
and i must say she´s looking realy confident at the moment. Great chance here !
Davydenko (1.22) -Ljubicic
The croat wont have a chance in this match is my opinion. He was lucky to win in the first round and was 2-5 in the second set before he miraculasly turned things around. Even though he won in
the end after many ups and downs in that match he lost alot of energy here, playing over 3 hours ! This is rather slow clay and his serve doesnt stick as well on this surface and once the ball
is in play i don´t see how he can outplay Davydenko from the baseline? BANKER for me !!!
