Edouard Roger Vasselin - Marin Cilic

Edouard Roger Vasselin is of course rather mediocre player, but from time to time he's in good form and especially on grass he can be really, really dangerous, which he proved for example last year, reaching third round in here, with couple of great plays. This year he was able to be in semis in Surbiton and he has been impressive in qualies, winning final game against solid Michal Przysiezny (62 61 61), with huge ease. I think he isn't much weaker than opponent and his tennis suits him on grass as well.

Marin Cilic is of course really talented player with couple of good results this year, he has good play on grass, but still in my view bookmakers overestimate him big time in here, especially that he isn't so dominant on grass. I expect quite tough game for hime and at least one set for Frenchman, so +6 games handicap could be a great choice.

4 units* Edouard Roger Vasselin +6 games @ 1.90 at Pinnacle

Jurgen Melzer - Ivan Ljubicic

Jurgen Melzer is back in form I suppose as he was really disappointing start of the season but in last few weeks he looked really good and consistent, also on grass. He was solid in Roland Garros, reaching third round, he ought to be well prepare for Wimbledon after quite successful tournament in s'Hertogenbosch, where he reached quarter final, after a nice play. He's good on fastcourts and there's no doubt, also he really like to play against big servers because he has really, really dangerous return.

Ivan Ljubicic is of course big server, with solid play on grass, but still he can't be grasscourter ever as he has poor movement in here, with only serve as a big card. I doubt he'll be able to break Jurgen couple of times and also it'll be hard for him to hold his serve against such returner. I expect tight game without favourite, at least one tiebreak, so +3.5 games handicap at Pinnacle with @ 1.93 ought to be a fair deal.

Wayne Odesnik - Jarrko Nieminen

Wayne Odesnik has of course no experience on grass, but he had no experience on clay also since Roland Garros and still he reached third round, beating Guillermo Canas (76 76 76) and Hyung Taik Lee (62 46 63 62). Now he has new challenge, to play on grass in Wimbledon and I'm sure he'll be well prepare in here too, especially that he's talented player, with huge serve and strong groundstrokes. I can say he can't be such underdog against out of form Nieminen and bookmakers overestimate experience factor.

Jarkko Nieminen is of course far more experience overal and on grass, but still he has the worst year ever, with only couple of wins and few pathetic losses. He's out of form, without any chances to play better and I predict a hard time for him against solid Odesnik. Definetely +5 games handicap is too high and I'll take advantage of it.

4 units* Wayne Odesnik +5 games @ 1.95 at Pinnacle

Benjamin Becker - Nikolay Davydenko

Benjamin Becker was in pathetic form whole year, but since season on grass has started, he looks alive another one time, with really consistent and solid tennis. His serve is really strong and rotated, simply well for such surfaces and everyone would have problems with it. He proved his solid form in Halle and s'Hertogenbosch, even if he won only one game. I watched him in two games and his play was solid and I'm sure that against such poor grasscourter he has chances even to a win.

Nikolay Davydenko was first failing material last year on grass and I remember how short odds were against quite mediocre rivals against him, now bookmakers probably forgot his inability to play on grass, making him huge favourite against natural grasscourter. He's in good form, but still clay and grass has a big difference and I predict huge problems for him in every game. He has never reached quarter finals in Wimbledon and I expect a tight game in here and troubles for him till first round. Such +5.5 games handicap must be my play, because Nikolay is just pathetic on this surface, with his inability to play any volleys.

4 units* Benjamin Becker +5.5 games @ 2.04 at Pinnacle

Jeremy Chardy - Frederico Gil & Victor Troicki - Nicholas Lapentti

Jeremy Chardy is extremely talented young Frenchman, who impressed me a lot in Roland Garros, playing amazing tennis, with great serve and excellent forehand. He looks like a new young gun in ATP and I'm sure he'll be in top soon, especially that he ought to be all rounder as well. His tennis suits him for grass, with his serve about 210 km/h and it's not true that he has no experience on grass as he's former winner of juniors Wimbledon. Frederico Gil is typical claycourter, without any weapons in here and even quite solid qualies can't be such important to beat Chardy. Odds about @ 1.39 are definetely worth to try.

Victor Troicki is also young and talented with quite solid play on grass, which he proved in last week, so I must trust him against such claycourter like today. Serb has never won in first round Grand Slam so it's time to make a second step in his career, I can say he's well prepare for it. Nicolas Lapentti is old, poor on grass and he has some problems with shoulder, so @ 1.51 must be my choice in here, without any doubts. Overal @ 2.09 for such 'safe' combo is amazing for me.
