In my opinion very few expected that this year Wimbledon quarter-final will look like that. Both players surprised few times upsetting strong favourites in matches
against them. Both impressed me with their game and I can't say they didn't deserved for semi-final. Which is quite weird becouse these two didn't shine bright in competitions before Wimbledon.
German player Rainer Schuetler rated on 94 position of ATP ranking already beat here Ventura, Blake, Garcia-Lopez, Tipsarevic. Definitely eliminating James Blake looks very good. After 5 setter
thriller German done that. It is big success but still I think Blake isn't lately in good shape and he wasn't presenting his best or even average performance in that match. Tipsarevic was rated
as a one who will send off German, but young Serbian as usual was too unstable and he was playing with injury which affected his speed on court and Rainer used it well. One thing we have to say
about Schuettler he is excellent baseliner and keeps well his serve. 32 years old German will match a little younger French Man, rated on 145 position of ATP ranking and great doubles player -
Arnaud Clement (pic.). In spite that names upseted by him in this Grand Slam don't look so strong like on German side, in my opinion they were much more hard to beat opponents. Clement
eliminated Bjorkman, Becker, Melzer and Cilic. Last three are very strong serve players and big potentials on grass surfaces. Still only Melzer was able to bite a set from French Man. Clement
after years in doubles learned to play well under a net and he is very regular player, he made very few unforced errors in last three matches - 11, 5, 9. And many winnings on his side (last
three matches: 26, 37, 23), in comprasion with few unforced errors it gives us very nice record. Stable and regular serve in every match he keep around 75% winnings from 1'st set and 65% from
2'nd. Schuettler posses much stonger 1'st serve but his 2'nd serve is weak, becouse Rainer wins only half of points. Both poses very good returns. Clement seems to poses more arguments but
still I don't think he will win over Rainer easyly. He need to put his style on the game or Rainer will throw him from corner to corner. Both once were in top of ATP, so I think they will
handle the pressure and both will fight on highest level. Line of over 41.5 games look very good also I think Clement will win this game. Good Luck!
