cardinals4.jpg St. Louis Cardinals - San Diego Padres

I've been out during last two weeks, but according the results and informations, I have still a knowledge about a situation in MLB. I haven't been betting on it for a long time, but now it ought to be easier for me to cash in as all teams has played about hundred games and all looks clear at the moment. After a break and start of second half, I think it'll be few good offers every day, especially that some teams can be unmotivated or underrated at this stage .

St. Louis Cardinals are still in solid form with (56-43) balance, playing some superb baseball lately, with three wins in a row against Padres, going to have a sweep in first series of second half of the season. At home they're strong enough to beat such opponents, even four time in a row, so even with mediocre Jaime Garcia (0.00 ERA), who's a complete newcomer, I think they should be big favourites in here, as atmosphere in this team is really great.

San Diego Padres is rather in huge downtrend with pathetic (37-61) balance and five losses in a row. Especially playing on road they have no clue about winning games, having 14-31 record and I must say I can't imagine them with a win today. I know that Cha Seung Baek (5.25 ERA) is more experience than Garcia, but still he looks like a poor pitcher, with a pathetic period these days. I really doubt that Padres has any chances in here, so @ 1.74 at Pinnnacle seems quite acceptable offer on Cardinals, especially at home.

Seattle Mariners - Cleveland Indians

Seattle Mariners are rather poor this year with (38-59) balance and also their form doesn't look good at the moment, with couple of really bad performances and yesterday loss against Indians by three runs. I think that home factor isn't a big advantage for them, especially with 20-28 record, so I doubt they could be a serious problem for guests today because their pitching stuff ought to be a huge problem in here. Carlos Silva (5.46 ERA) is just totaly out of form, with 4-11 record and few pathetic games last weeks and I'm sure that opponents batters will have few an easy runs today.

Cleveland Indians are also in downtrend with weak (42-54) balance, but still they're class better than hosts in overal look and also they ought to be in better form these days, with five wins out of last six games. Also Cliff Lee (2.31 ERA) as a starting pitcher is to be a tough nut to crack, especially with his amazing 12-2 record this season and for me even away from Cleveland, this team must be a favourite in here. I know that @ 1.76 for Indians on road isn't as excellent as it would be, but still against Mariners I must play them today.
