Alberto Martin - Tomas Zib & Juan Martin Aranguren - Werner Eschauer

Alberto Martin has been playing really good tennis in minor events this year, especially on clay, reaching 27-16 record on this surface, with few decent wins against solid opponents like Oscar Hernandez (46 60 63), Ivo Minar (64 36 64), Olivier Rochus (46 63 64), Victor Troicki (75 75) or Denis Gremelmayr (76 46 64), so I can say he's still capable of some good matches. His performance in last weeks was quite ok, he reached second round in Amersfoort, beating Yuri Schukin (76 64), and quarterfinal in Turin. On the other hand Tomas Zib is totaly out of form and even a fact that he passed qualies with ease, can't change anything because his performance in those matches was just pathetic and an easy score against poor Atilla Balazs (64 60) is just misleading. Czech lost last five matches in a row, against poor opponents (two games in first round of qualies), so I can't miss a bet on Martin, even with a low @ 1.31 odd.

Juan Martin Aranguren is a poor player and that's a fact, but still he's much younger and motivate than opponent and I think it'll be an factor which will decide about a winner in this game. Spaniard isn't in a poor form, he's just mediocre player with 9-12 record, but his style of play is excellent against such players like today, because he's quite precise, playing really soft tennis. He has already playedtwo games in qualies, which ought to be an advantage for him, especially after nice win in final round against Sebastian Rieschick (76 60). On the other hand Werner Eschauer is just in pathetic form these days with 0-7 record on clay in majors and 4-8 in minors, so I can't see him winning even with an average Aranguren. He has lost six out of last seven matches, against average opponents and he's looking for another loss in first round. I think that such big @ 2.05 price on Juan Martin is too good to miss because he deserved to be a favourite in here.
