Since the last womens open was held at Sunningdale in 2001 there has been an explosion of korean women taking up the game.
Eun-Hee Ji is one of those women.
A rookie last year, she managed 2 top tens in just 4 events played, a feat that would be unheard of on the mens tour. More importantly though she tied for 5th in this tournament last year.
However this year she has prooved she's not a one season wonder.
Son her first tournament back in June ( the Wegmans ), and then played exceptionally well in her next 3 tournaments registering an 8t, 3rd and 11th last week in the Evian.
Her stats say she can win here as well. 3rd in putts per GIR and 11th in driving accuracy.
This young lady sure knows how to play the game and everything about her screams that she is due a BIG week this week.
The mexican favourite is a surely worthy favourite, but too short to be getting involved in at the given odds, so I'm happy with Ji to give us a very good run for our money.
Eun-Hee Ji 2 points EACH WAY (4 points in total ) @ 41 with Betdirect 1/4 odds a place 1,2,3,4,5

Annika Sorenstam is probably the best known female golfer on the planet, and of all time. Her record of victories is the best in womens golf by a country mile, and it will be sad to see her
leave the game at the end of the season to concentrate on her new career in motherhood. She has made no secret of the fact that she is looking forward to hanging up her spikes and having
children, and good luck to her. There is of course a new wonder name on the womens circuit this last few seasons, her name being Lorena Ochoa, the mexican who is winning all in front of her
this season. There are only 13 runners in this bet ( Not all europeans listed ) which I think is great value, as I can't see the likes of Stupples or Pettersen troubling her, and those who
think Laura Davies could do well are sadly living in the 90's still.
Anni has won 3 tournaments this year, and amassed over $1million in prize money, she is a respectable 26th in driving accuracy and T6th in putts per GIR, the couse being used is the parkland
monster of Sunningdale, and nothing will be uppermost on Anni's mind than to go out with a bang in her last major, and she wilbe 100% motivated for this week.
