Champions LeagueFenerbahce v Partizan

I was late with this pick as odds got slahsed already, nevertheless I'm still interested to get on visitots here. I've watched the first leg and my general impression is that teams were equal more or less. Partizan had started well as they opened the score and then doubled their lead but Turks pulled one back from penalty and then got the equalizer. Both sides have had and other good chances but it wasn't to be and it's ended in a draw. Serbs didn't look at all as underdogs, and that's the most important thing as far as this second leg goes. I've heard they'll get boosted by several players who had missed the match in Belgrade, while the Turkish side are troubled by few crucial missings. +1.5 is a good spread in my view and has to be taken.

Dinamo v Shakhtar

Looks like the public at large rate Dinamo very low and even tend to cross the fairness, mainly to their public image and the fact they couldn't beat poor Linfield at home and then lost in Ukraine. Sure the Ukraineans may have a better squad and look in better shape but actually few teams give everything on the pitch for a victory when they only need a draw to get through, a loss on the line would do the job for them either as they've won 2-0 two weeks ago. Even a crappy side like Wisla who couldn't stand  a chance in Spain managed to beat big Barca, and only the added/lack of motivation can do that. Needless to say Shakhtor could beat Dinamo yet again but I bet they won't have so many chances as they had on their ground and from experience I can tell there are moments in a football match when pure class doesn't make you win the match, a bit of "extra" is needed and I think they're gonna lack that tonight.

Olympic v Brann

The Marseille based side have won 1-0 in Norway and now they only need a draw to proceed to the group stage. It's been a match that could have easily ended up in a scoreless draw as both sides looked husky up front. The Frenchmen were the better side, more technical, that was obvious, but the Norwegians defended well and refused to open up even at 0-1. Originally I wanted to take Brann on AH but under looks a lot better as I can't trust their attack while hosts should be aiming to qualify, and a narrow win would be a perfect result for them. Brann are nothing special but they play close and looked quite organized at the back, meaning they won't get caught on counters which should eventually lead to a low-scoring match.

Olympiakos v Anorthosis

Olympiakos have lost 0-3 in Cyprus and they get -2 now. Sure they have a better squad I do agree with that, but there's a lot of pressure on their shoulders at the same time. They can say good-bye to CL stages should they concede as they'd be uspposed to score 5 times which is not so easy. 3-0 is not the real picture of the first leg, the Greeks have had their chances and missed'em all, and will be surely looking to bounce back in a way or another but Anorthosis didn't look so poor to get this price for qualification considering they have a 3 goals edge. Olympiakos have got their best results in Europe at home and are known for their power when playing in front of their fans, however they've been getting those results as underdogs, when they could exploit on counters and set back in defence. Against Anorthosis it will be more difficult as it's not so easy to score against a side who'll probably defend with 10 men in their box AND stay safe at the back meanwhile. The Cypriots looked dangerous when crossing the ball from the wings two weeks ago, if they can get a chance like this I think they might produce a goal. Nevertheless I think +2 is not as good as the qualification price, worse odds but much better chances for that, greater value in my view.

Liverpool v Standard

The first leg ended with a scoreless draw and despite the few chances it was never going to be very open. Standard could have been 1-0 up hadn't been denied a disputed goal, and could have fructified the penalty they got, which was perfectly saved. Despite the class/name difference it was the Belgian side who looked more dangerous and the Reds should have been happy to tie a dull game with very few chances. Hadn't watched the English side in their domestic championship I'd have probably skipped this one, but they've been lacking fire up front in both their EPL matches so far, and as long as Boro gets +1.25 at Anfield why should champions of Belgium get +1.75? However I feel the Reds are gonna get through in the end, and there's some risk should we take the AH option, though the under looks good. Let's face it: the Reds are gonna score sooner or later, but the good thing is that I don't expect them to push things afterwards. One mistake and the visitors might score and I'm sure Benitez with his defensive-minded approach will make sure it won't happen. 1-0 and 2-0 are the most probable scorelines in my view.
