Sabine Lisicki - Alyona Bondarenko
From today's draw I've noticed two interesting matches in ladies event. Alyona Bondarenko luckily survived in match against Jamea Jackson. American after winning first
set was holding 4-2 result and wasn't able to finish it. Bondarenko after Wimbledon injury had knee surgery and in my opinion it will take time until she will stabilize with her form. I don't
think she will be able to run at full power on court after such health problems. Today opponent goes little higher than Jamea Jackson, because Sabine Lisicki is a young and hungry for victories
player that already proved that she do not fear higher ranked players. Bondarenko had also huge problems in Olympic tour where she was losing 3:6, 0:1 against Milagros Sequera, but her opponent
retired. Her yesterday game against Jackson was really poor and if she will play like that against Lisicki who gave no chances in first round to Martina Sanchez she will be in serious problem.
Sabine lately maybe didn't show anything big but still I think she is a very talented player and it take time until she will achieve some good results, but still against Bondarenko after injury I
wouldn't underestimate her. We'll see...

Shuai Peng - Flavia Pennetta
In spite of h2h which Flavia leads 3:0 I think Peng Shuai with her last performances is able to change this and win first match against Italian. Flavia since Los Angeles where she reached
final slowed down. Loses to Larcher de Brito, Kanepi and Cristea Sorana in last tours show that even if she beat some classy players in LA like Bammer, Matter or Sugiyama, hard isn't her best
surface and she don't feel the best here. Yesterday big problems with weak Voegele and a 3 set battle. Her serve, especially 2'nd don't look too good and with such game I don't expect her to be a
black horse of this event. Shuai Peng as most of Chinese tennis players where building up her form for Olympics. Sadly after winning with Suarez Navarro, she had to match Cornet and French girl
is still out of her range. But after that she went into Forest Hills tournament where she reached final losing in with Safarova. In US Open no chances to Daniilidou. Peng presented where high
1'st serve performance and even gave one single chance to break her. She move very fast on court and seems to be in great condition. Flavia in first match struggled much and if Peng will play
like in first round I expect quick result.
