Although I have a bad experience with my combos this one has to be taken and I'll explain you why I go for a combo instead of the standard AH option.

It's not a secret we're at the early stage of the seasons and we can't say for sure yet which team is in form, which is not, and have a precise rating. Hence it's silly in my view to take Roma -1.5 when you can take'em straight and add a few more selections of the same kind. Moreoever, never forget a team's main goal is to win/not to lose a match, and not to beat the spread. And that becomes even more unpredictable when the season just started.

Roma - CFR Cluj 1 at 1.25

Although the Romans have had a bad start of the season and have some important missings, they're a class above CFR from every point of view and should take this one with ease. The Romanians lack experience and will play for the first time at this level, typical home thrashing I'd say.

Real Madrid - BATE Borisov 1 at 1.10

It's still a big wonder for me how BATE got here. Just like CFR, they'll play for the first time at this level and not even God can help them avoid a clear defeat. No chance for them!

Werder Bremen - Anorthosis Famagusta 1 at 1.20

I may have backed Anorthosis in their last Qualifying match, but they have no chance when they travel to Bremen to face Werder on Tuesday night. Who is in and who is out doesn't mean much, the mental strength will play the most significant role in this one, and the Germans have got the edge.

Steaua v Bayern X2 at 1.27

Bayern to win looks very well but since I've decided not to risk anything and watch the first round(s) firstly, I'll play safe and take them not to lose. Steaua have got some sort of experience in CL groups but they can't deal with Bayern whatsoever. The home support is expected to be huge, though they'll more likely end up with a defeat, a draw is the most optimstic result they may get, and they would need luck in plenty for that anyway.
