Middlesbrough v West Bromwich
Two defeats in a row in EPL on the road, and Boro have got to bounce back when they face West Bromwich today. I was impressed by Baggies in their trip to Bolton and we could have even said they
might have deserved the three points, if we also expel their match at the Emirates Stadium when they played well (but only because of Arsenal not being Arsenal) we can actually notice they were
poor so far and have shown signs of weekness. Everton, West Ham and Villa have all managed to command respect against Baggies, the Hammers were unlucky to lose their match thus.
Middlesbrough were more than impressive at the Riverside Stadium so far. Spurs got clearly dominated and lost the game, same thing happened to Stoke who were lucky to lose on the line. They've
striggled against Pompey away, but put in some decent football against Liverpool and more recently against Sunderland. They've lost it 2-0 but could have been so much different on another
occasion as they've missed two golden chances and a penalty when the score was 0-0, afterwards the Black Cats started to put pressure and scored two goals. Overall it was an equal match and
that means Southgate's men are on the right way.
Middlesbrough (-0.75) at 2.11 with Pinnacle, stake 8
Stoke v Chelsea
Stoke were lucky not to lose at Anfield Road last week, and Chelsea maybe should have beat United. Although the Blues are expected to have an easy mission against Stoke today, I'm a bit
sceptical concerning their play on the road. They beat lucky Wigan I can say, and City made it hard for them either, so maybe Stoke may cover this spread. However I'm not ready to trust hosts
on this, instead I've got another option for this match: under! Chelsea have Joe Cole and Deco out, the first actually missed 2 golden chances last week against United, and overall they've veen
playing very close away from home. Knowing that Stoke are not the most offensive-minded team in the world, and against Chelsea will play even closer, I expect a tight physical match. 0-1 and
0-2 are the most likely outcomes in my view.
Under 2.75 at 1.87 with Pinnacle, stake 8
