Bayern Munich vs Lyon

Bayern should easily take this game, Lyon is not a force they were 3 yrs ago and every yr they seem to be getting worse and worse. That’s down to the fact that some of their key players are really aging and the potentials are yet to fully develop. They showed a lot of character to come back from 2-0 down but they should never have been in that position in the first place. Lyon 3 yrs ago would have came away comfy winners at home. Bayern has started off the campaign well and their clean sheet in the opening game was impressive. Tells me they know what to do to get a job done in Europe. Lyon has been leaking goals this season and Bayern’s attack is at a different level compare to what they are use to. I expect Bayern to take this one quite comfortably.

Villarreal vs Celtic

Villarreal is playing great football at the minute and IMO they got all the ingredients to go really far in this competition. They are so organised at the back and against Man u they simply shut them down and was a little unfortunate not to come away with 3 pts. I actually thought Celtic had a chance before the group started, however their draw against the weakest team in the group was a major set back. Celtic has never convinced me they have the qualities to compete at this level and it’s only their home form that gives them any hope. With that said I really don’t see them scoring in this game and Villarreal should comfortably come away with all 3 pts.
