Everton is in trouble, Standard liege is a very good team, after the Liverpool games everybody just talked about how badly Liverpool played but IMO Liverpool didn’t play that badly and just showed how good standard liege was. In the first leg I was quite surprised at how open the game was.

After the first game Standard will know they are a better team then Everton and I can see them playing a high tempo game again and come away with a victory.

Liverpool got really lucky not to have lost in Belgium and after seeing the first game at the ease of which the Everton defence was carved open I really struggle to see Everton coming away with a victory this game. The fact that they need to score should create an open game and that will play right in the hands of the home side.

Standard is too quick and has too many clever and direct players. I still think they can do better in terms of finishing their chances but I have no doubt they will create plenty in this game. Right now Everton are really struggling defensively and I really don’t see how they can keep this Standard side out.
