Wigan v Manchester City Wigan v Middlesbrough

Really like this offer! The Latcics have been impressive in this new campaign but their style hasn't changed a bit. They beat City 2-1 last round. I'm not going to tell you now how lucky Wigan were as the visitors really deserved at least a point, but emphasize upon my theory that says: Wigan are an undersih team! They were like this last season and play the same this year as well, thus they close the game and don't let their opponents create much, even though they don't create much themselves. Against City it went over but the only reason was the penalty they've got, otherwise it we'd have seen one more under game. Boro know to score and really like them this season, I think sooner or later they should get back to the winning days, but it will be hard for them to break a tough Wigan defence, especially that they mostly play counters and against Wigan that's not going to work. City got a few moments a week ago but they pressed the home side, I doubt Boro can do that.

West Bromwich v Fulham

The Baggies got dominated in all their home games so far, the only match they did ok was against a poor Bolton side which was away from home and they played more close. At home they looked more than vulnerable at the back and why they offer this spread is big wonder to me. The Cottagers may have had an awful last season when they had no attack and couldn't defend, but this season's different as they have improved a lot and got several exceptional games under their belt. They've lost unlucky to West Ham last round, while West Bromwich beat Boro and despite the two amazing misses from the last minutes of the game (God how did he missed that??) they didn't do anyhing and could have conceded from the first minutes of the match when Boro have hit the crossbar and continued well in the 2nd half when more chances were missed. What I'm trying to point out is Baggies can't be favourites at home, not against an in-form Fulham side who look so well this season and should be eager to bounce back as the're coming off two defeats in a row.
