Bath City – Maidenhead United (Sat 29 Nov 16:00)

England Conference South

Well, odds are probbably set due to league table, but IMO they are just wrong. Ok, Maidenhead started this season very good and in first 14 games lost only twice. Remarkable result. But things started to go worse last couple of games where they lost 3 in a row with only one goal scored. To make things worse, they are without frrst goalkeeper Gore,w ho is injured and they brought in replacement, not goalie no.2 Carter but Smith from other team. He already appeared last round against Newport and Maidengead lost 1-0. And loss was on home ground. As all last three losses. So IMO Maidenhead is in some sort of crisis and Bath can take advantage of it. They have 4-0-2 in last 6 games winning last round over top team Chelmsford 3-2 and not to mention their progress in cup. On other side Maidehead lost game in cup and makes a bit of salt on their wounds. Also for bath, Adam Connolly, Lewis Hogg and Scott Rogers returne to the field after their absence and coach can finnaly count on most of the players. Only problem is keeper Evans, who is banned due to cards, but wil lbe replaced with Perrin who alread played this season. And he is not bad. IMO it is time for Bath to make something of it and I think odds for home win are just to good to miss.
