With only 13 points this season Siena are rock bottom and statistically they are the second worse team at home. It hasn't been so bad on the pitch though. They were very unlucky not to have won/tied on several occasions, and exepting a couple of games when they looked poor, they have actually played very well, much better compared to their situation in the table at least. Sampdoria are the perfect opponents for ending this run as these guys have been really pathetic away from home. They create little up front and their defence is bread and butter if I can say so. They put in surprisingly good football in their last away fixture with Udinese despite missing their best striker, but generally speaking I don't see any reason why should they get the level ball, no matter the opponent. Siena will be missing regular defender Brandao, but this is very little to their opponents with first choice goalkeepper Castellazzi, key striker Cassano and influential midfielder Padalino all out.
